What I've Found Was...

Actually, the things were completely the same to what Mr. Lockman talked about in class... XD;;;
...OH, don't tell me that you're already board!!
I absolutely AM trying to add some my point of view and thoughts, too! XD;;;

...WELL, first, I'm gonna point out what I'm going to consider as a main point;
How memes expand as materials among Internet users.

To point that out, I wanna introduce you some examples.
Plus, I wanna mention that those examples are mostly coming from Nico-Nico Douga (ニコニコ動画/oftentimes known as "Nico-Do"), coz this movie sharing site obviously shows where each meme comes from.

***

ex1>

First, I'll show you an example; Hatsune Miku & leek relationship.  (For knowing further about Hatsune Miku, you've gotta see THIS BLOGPOST of momefactory!)
*This is a special credit for you guys who are reading this blogpost! XD
The image above is possibly one of the most well known image of Hatsune Miku.

Actually, she was not related with such vegetable originally ... but related coz of the story I'm going to tell you now.

One day, one person recognized these two memes;
"Ievan Polkka (Ieva's Polka)" by Loituma, and
a scene from BLEACH anime which Inoue Orihime twirls a leek in a weird way.

THEN, the person somewhat came up with an idea of combining the two ... which came out like THIS below.

*Sorry, I was eager to upload the clip here directly from Nico-Do, but it seems not to be working, so I decided to put the same clip from YouTube. XD;;;

THEN, some viewers learned to like this Loituma Girl clip (the clip I just introduced above).
And since when the clip became famous/popular was almost the same to when Hatsune Miku started to be popular as well (2006), one of the Loituma Girl fans came up with combining Hatsune Miku with it.

NOW, I guess you've noticed that there's a familiar-looking Hatsune Miku in one of the clips!
*Again, these two clips supposed to come from Nico-Do, however I couldn't manage it... :(

Coz of these kinda clips, now Hatsune Miku is known as a character who LOOOOVES leeks!
...If you're able to read Japanese, you might wanna see THIS CLIP as well ... or, even you cannot read any Japanese, you'll even see some other interesting stuffs there, too! :D

***

ex2>

Next, I'll show you another example ... this one, I'm gonna talk about in my presentation as well.
That is a clip-material well known as "Get Down (ゲッダン)" in Nico-Do.

The origin of this clip-material was kinda similar to how Loituma Girl thing was made;
again, someone simply combined two memes.
Those memes are these two shown below (both are released in 1997).

Golden Eye 007 game by Nintendo (characters "bugged"movement)

"Promise" sung by Hirose Kohmi

...The two memes' combination came out like THIS!
*The clip uploaded in YouTube was lacking sound due to the copyright, so I had to simply put the link from Nico-Do. X(;;;
Then, someone was so interested in the clip that he made up his mind to make a hand-drawing anime for it *again, coz of the copyright the sound of this clip in YouTube was lacking...; which actually defined what the "Get Down" dance should be as a clip-material meme.

The anime clip was traced and danced (?) by the fans ... and there also are variations, too! XD

In addition, coz of the original drawn "Get Down" dance clip, the song became famous AGAIN, and the original singer herself is now calling the song as "Get Down (ゲッダン)" rather than the actual title!

***

NOW, here, I have to conclude from these examples...

If a meme started to be used as a clip-material it'll become burst-spread by the fans,
and that causes another meme, and another meme causes a next another meme ...
THIS PHENOMENON LOOPS FOREVER.

Phew!
Now I think I'm done...

Oh, but wait!
If you weren't able to see the links from Nico-Do, you've gotta sign-up for the site!
Not only for going through this blogpost, but also for your fun! XD

Previous Post Edited from "Edit HTML"

Today, I'd like to introduce some simple HTML things here! :D

WELL, you know, I am NOT an expert ... so JUST BASICS!!

First of all, I'd like to mention about how an HTML thing look like.

There is a certain formula, which looks like this;

< *** >xxx< /*** >
*** = a command; how you wanna make "xxx" to look-like/function in a page
xxx = a thing that you wanna make appear; it could be a text, an image, etc...

Well, the VERY basic is this thing; < *** >.

For example, the HTML I was talking about in class with Mr. Lockman;
link HTML looks like this below.

If I resolve this; URL
it looks like

< a href=URL > URL < /a >

...WELL, it's one of the basic HTMLs, but it seems a little confusing ... like,
"What the hell's 'a href' thing?"
I know, that's what I thought about it! XD

Well, anyway...

So first, I think I wanna start off from the simplest ones. :)

BOLD
= < B > BOLD < /B >

ITALIC
= < I > ITALIC < /I >

UNDERLINE
= < U > UNDERLINE < /U >

LINE
CHANGE
= LINE < BR > CHANGE

CENTER

=
< center > CENTER < /center >

BLINK
= < blink > BLINK < /blink >

etc...

AND some complicate stuffs; I at least remember

MARQUEE
= < marquee loop=infinity > MARQUEE < /marquee >
*infinity could be 1-infinity

AQUA/SIZE7
= < FONT color="aqua" size="7" > AQUA/SIZE7 < /FONT >
*color name could be color code#, and font size could be 1- (1-7 for keitai websites)

...I don't know and am not sure whether they show up when I publish them, so I gotta check afterward...
(They fxxkin didn't show up in the preview! X(;;;)

ALSO, those functions are already there in the composing bar of the blogposting form, so you might never have to mind about those shits now... XD;;;
PLUS, it's far much easier to check everything while composing at the same time, rather than typing all those HTML stuffs... XD

Editing My Page to Make It Look Like Mine

PHEW!!  THAT was so fun! XD

I made up my mind to make my blog page look like a very particular one. :D
AND I really felt that it is REALLY GOOD for an art-person to do that.

I'm not talking about how the person can express one's self ... it's more a DAMN simple thing;

IT'S ABOUT THE PERSON'S FXXKIN SATISFACTORY!! XDXDXD

You know, an art-art-person tends to be a dude who never can stand a situation/status that the one can't show one's audience what kinda person he/she is like. LOL

WELL, as you may see in this page, I'm OBVIOUSLY that a kinda dude! LOL

For example, some of you might know ... the drawing tiled in the background is one of my favourite works of MINE! XD
Actually, I was trying to make a painting to be tiled here, but not now, coz the image seemed to be too large...

WELL, anyway...

Maybe you wanna try what I did from

-> "Template Designer"
-> "Advanced"

if you're really eager to speak out who you are! ;)

POP Culture... (continuation)

OK, at last I was able to come back!! XDXDXD

Alright, where were we last time ... I bet I said that I'm gonna talk about another POP culture that came from Axis Powers Hetalia!

I guess that POP culture thing isn't popular among the world yet, but only among Japanese Hetalia fans...

That is
EMOTICONS OF HETALIA CHARACTERS!!

ヽ(=ヮ=`*)ν{PASTA-----!!)
↑Here is Italy.
Maybe this could be one that is the most used in all the emoticons of Hetalia characters, coz he is the main character. :D
However, it actually has some variations;
Happy/Smile→(=ヮ=`*)ν
Sad/Crying→  (=д`=,)ν
                                etc...

Those variations have something to do with emotions of characters, but there are other variations those refer to individual preferences of someones who use those emoticons;
as you can see in the link I put in above, there are different ways of expressing Hetalia characters' faces.

I think I wanna introduce the most favourite Hetalia-character-emoticon of mine! :)

(回言回){Hm, m' name's Sweden.) ←THAT'S HIM!! XDXDXD

WELL, why I like this character's emoticon is ... I guess I have 2 main reasons;
1. ITS UNUSUAL COERCIVE MOOD!
2. ITS HAVING SO MANY EMOTION VARIATIONS!

I think I wanna introduce all the variations of his emoticon;

Normal→           (回言回)
Anger/Stare→  (回誉回)
Glasses Broken→ (困言困)
Surprised→    (口言口)
Glasses Lost→  (3言3)
Glasses Lost 2→  (3誉3)

Cross-Gendered→(尚言尚)

AND if you got used to those variations, you can play around in advance...

Happy→      ヽ(回言回*)ノ。・;*°:*
Shocked→     Σ(回誉回;|||
Anxious→     ヽ(回誉回;ヽ≡ノ;回誉回)ノ

FUNNY, aren't they? LOL

...WELL, I guess now it's kinda hard to conclude this post... XD;;;

OK, here's my conclusion;

Now you know that one POP culture could be influencing/fusioning-with another POP culture!

POP Culture...

POP culture is a term that is used for calling cultures originating to things those are popular in society.
POP comes from the word "popular" and that you can see that the term POP is a shortened term for "popular" ... YUP, that's the only thing I remember about what POP culture thing is.
To deepen the story, I have to explain what popular things in society are;
They are ... I would say, SOCIETY ITSELF.
It could be all kinds of media, information those came from there, etc.
WELL, it could be reflecting social preferences oftenly.

SO, I'm gonna repeat this ...
POP CULTURE = SOCIETY/SOCIAL PREFERENCES

SO, I'd like to introduce a thing that is from a cyberspace, and became famous among the world; which could be called a sort of an example of how a POP culture begins.

Maybe some of you might know this  comic; Axis Powers Hetalia. ヽ(=ヮ=’*)ν PASTA------!!

You can see what it is in Hetalia Archives, and also in Hetalia Scanalations.

It came from a Web-comic by Hidekaz Himaruya, and it is mainly about ethnic jokes and world history.
The comic shows each countries personified; all the characters are COUNTRIES.  (some are normal human-beings, though)

Well, anyway ... that's NOT the main topic today, although I want to make it so... XD;;;

I believe that this comic is now one of the hottest POP culture in world ... at least, in world of comics/anime.  (AND comics/anime culture could be counted as a HUGE part of world's POP culture!)
Although it isn't as much as that black mouse whose name starts with an M (HE should be one of the most popular POP culture in whole world!), Hetalia characters are often depicted in many of fanarts nowadays.
If you are joining the Pixiv site, just try looking for works with "Hetalia" and "ヘタリア" tags.
There, you might see loads and loads of those!

Actually, as a Hetalia fan, I really am pleased to see many people all over the world being fond of the comic ... BUT THERE IS ONE BIG PROBLEM. :(
You know, coz most of the characters in the comic are called in country-name-form, there could be confusions between the actual coutries and the characters, while people are looking for information on keywords those are country-names.
many of the Japanese fans are starting to become sensitive about this issue, but globally, I don't think so...
So, recently, I made up my mind to put up this sort of work on Pixiv.

...YUP, I think I need to explain about OTAKU culture in Japan ... which is also a POP culture.

In Japan, otaku people tend to hide themselves in society.
Many of otaku are hiding facts of themselves' being otaku in daily-lives,
and if they are publishing their otaku works including fanarts and original works online, many of them tend to use some search-avoiding functions for them!

WHY?
Coz THEY KNOW THAT SOME OF PEOPLE MIGHT FEEL BAD ABOUT SEEING THOSE SHITS.
Especially in terms of fanarts, many otaku people tend to keep their mouths on their favourite works in public spaces.
You know, in a bunch of people we call "fans," there are several kinds of it.
AND many of the otaku people are knowing that they have to show respects to other kinds of fans of their favourite works.

And you might know about some of otaku people are "rotten"... XD;;;

SO, if an otaku starts to become "rotten" while enjoying Hetalia, he/she has to keep one's self even quietter...
You know, some of you cannnot accept personified U.S.A and personified Japan (plus, both of them are guys!!) making love to each other... XD;;;

...PHEW!
I guess I"m not really done yet, so I think I'll come back later... XD;;;

In the next blogpost, I think I'm gonna write on another culture originated from Hetalia! :D

PC-Site-Viewer Function

If you don't have a smart-phone, maybe you cannot look in websites those are particularly for PCs, while you're using your phone to web-surf.
Well ... except for your using a PC-Site-Viewer function.

If you have your kaitai, maybe you'll be able to find a thing like that somewhere in your keitai (e.g. somewhere in the Internet starting page, and somewhere in the main menu page).

Actually, I was afraid to use that stuff till afternoon today, coz I remembered that shit as a function that costs some money like per min./sec.
However, since today I've found out that it isn't true anymore (the costing system had changed and the fee for using it now seems to be included in the packet-fee per month), I decided to use it in order to login my Flickr account to make a tweet for my latest DailyShoot assignment.

Yup, I thought that it's gonna be A TOTALLY USEFUL SHIT...

BUT, I finished my experience with a disappointment! :(

...Well, I actually WAS able to login my Flickr, and also WAS able to login to my Twitter as well ... but there certainly WAS a limitation, too...

Maybe you've seen what appears when you're trying to tweet your image on your Flickr ... that's kinda like a new window to work on for editing your post for your tweet.
And THAT is the thing that enables you to work on all the process.

SO ... maybe some of you are already guessing what the limitation I faced was ... that was
WE'RE NOT ABLE TO OPEN UP SEVERAL PAGES AT ONCE USING YOUR KEITAI!! X(;;;

That was awful ... coz that prevented me from being the fastest dude for posting the day's DailyShoot assignment!

So for today, I think I've obviously learned something...
I SHOULD NEVER EXPECT THE SAME QUALITY OF FUNCTION TO A PC FROM A KEITAI.

...OR, it can be changing in the near future ... like the packet-fee starting including PC-Site-Viewer using fee! ;)

Test Post from My Keitai 2

Just some other experiments...

<How Links Come Out>

simply writing URL down
http://twitter.com/

URL with HTML
<a href="http://twitter.com/">Twitter</a> <- revised... seems like not really working well... (used quotation marks in front/back of the URL written in the HTML-thing)

<How New-Line-Making Works with HTML>

my<br>nick-name<br>is<br>KOOKABURRA.

P.S.
The results are like these ... just like you can see from above.

<Conclusion>
HTML sent from e-mail will NOT be activated on blogs here.

P.S. 2
Not knowing how to put tags on e-mail posts without logging in Blogger site, yet...

Test Post from My Keitai

I've tried enabling my keitai to post my blog from there!
Actually, I tried attaching an image on this post ... how's it going? :)
Gotta learn how to put tags on keitai-posts without openning my PC up!
...WELL, if it's possible, though... XD;;;

P.S.
The image posted was shown without any issues! :)
But I still don't know how to put tags on posts from keitai ... so I just labeled it afterward. :(

PLUS, maybe new-line-making from an e-mail post is not really working well...
It DID show up when the post was an original one, but when it came to a revision/re-edit it just disappeared!

<Conclusion>
If you're posting something from your e-mail address, you might have to be posting things those you never need to re-edit; that means, you might not want to post your assignment blogs this way. :(

Enjoying Skype with My Beloved One

Recently, my boyfriend, who is my fiance already, bought a headphone-set for doing Skype with me.

Since we have different company keitai from each other's we had to spend a lot to talk to each other frequently ... but not from now on.
(Some might already know, most of the time we will be able to talk on phone for free if who we wanna talk to has a same company keitai from ours.)

Actually, I had my own Skype coz I already had a chance to try to connect myself to some of my friends.
So I was really wanting to coax my boyfriend to have his own Skype that we'll be able to talk to each other for a long time ... which isn't needed any more coz it seemed like HE was also the one who was eager to have a frequent vocal communication with his own beloved one! :)

Yeah, I'm now very surprised to have such a thing ... a FREE, VOCAL communicating function!!
Plus, the sound quality is far much better than that of when we're talking on the phone!
AMAZING!! XD

Coz of recognizing these kinds of technological improvements, I sometimes feel like myself is an old dude ... maybe that's coz of mine having a memory of using a dial-phone regularly in my daily life.
Those kinda phones are like ... I don't know how to explain, but I could say only one thing;
IT TOOK A STUPID TIME TO DIAL A PHONE NUMBER compared to nowadays.
Coz we had to dial those numbers using a circle looking thing, which was called a dial, sticking on the front-side of the phone itself ... which looked like a round slice of a lotus root with each hole having its own number for it ... and using those holes, we had to turn the fxxkin dial for every single number in a phone number!
AND while the dial is moving back to the original position, we have to wait till it is done.
It's still fine when we're dialing no.1 ... coz it's like only "zig!" and that's done for a dial to move back.
But when it comes to talking about dialing no.0, it took like "zi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ig!" for the dial to get back!  UGH!! X(;;;

So that I was sooooo glad to welcome a push-button-phone in my home.

However, now I'm using the Skype thing, and noticed that that pleasantness I tasted was like a 15 year old memory already!

As a simple network user, I strongly feel how time passes by quickly when looking back in my memories related to networks.

BTW, I'm NOT really an old dude; I still am 23!  (Maybe I look younger than that, though... XD;;;)
Oh, gotta try catching up with the quickly-progressing networking things...

A Good Traveler Never Shoot Photos, But Remembers the Sight He Sees

About learning things on similarities of how brain and the Internet work, I reminded the words I wrote in the title.

I guess, that might be right ... I mean, the words in the title might be right.
Coz, you know, if a guy had a good memory enough to remember everything what he saw during his journey, he'll never need any cyberspaces for his photographs.
Plus, human memories can make all the visual memories more vivid than the actual thing which the person saw; that means, humans are able to combine deeper information, like their personal thoughts and what they strongly focused on, to their visual memories.
That could be considered as a better memory in a way, because people tend to look at photos they took during trips while they're reminding some things referred to the shot sights.

However, that also means that the visual memories of human-beings could be easily biased.
Is that a thing that we can simply call an accurate memory?
NO WAY.
In terms of just memorizing things (especially images and information from scientific articles), human brain could never go beyond the capacity of cyberspaces.
Besides, only if we had an Internet nowadays*, human brains only need to remember some triggers of starting our researches, and that we'll easily be able to get loads and loads of information those we might want to look for.  *later than 1989 here
Can human brain store those craps all the time without missing anything?
...NO, unless the person has an annoying super computer in his/her head...

Although, we never can forget this fact that human brains are the final deciders of which information to take, however they cannot remember all the shitty-massive quantities of all the information floating in the cyberspace of Internet.
That means, who is actually taking the information out of the cyberspace has to have a certain quality of knowledge on things they are looking for.
Without the knowledge, the person will simply start drifting in the flood of cyberspace-information those are not necessarily true.
See what's going on in Japan right now!
What a pity that people without really knowing about the thing they fear are making all the rumors and another new information based of rumors!

BTW, has anyone reminded about the story of Tron while thinking things about cyberspaces?
That might be a film that can offer us this question; "what's the superior/inferior of human/cyberspaces compared to other?"

GOOD to be a nerdy dude!! XD

NOW I know what to write in this blog ... AND that sorts of things were announced in class!
GREAT!

OK, I'll have to be thinking on what to focus on in this blog...

My First Blogging Here

Actually, not knowing what to write, or what to say...

So, maybe, I'll start thinking of which direction to go in this blog.

Hmm...
OK, since this is a blog for a class, I think I'm gonna try sticking to it ... sticking to a relatable topic, at least!
Like, what I thought, and what I learned while working on class/out-o-class activities
...Well, I seem like a nerdy, smartass-kind of "GOOD STUDENT", don't I? XD

BUT I'M NOT LIKE THAT.
I was just lazy to make a new topic... XD;;;

Well, anyway, this only is a brief, almost like an aim-like, temporal direction for this blog, SO DO NOT SWALLOW MY WORDS.
I'm a random dude ... sorry! XD;;;

...OK, maybe that's it for today, coz it's just a starting-off point.
Except for one thing;

DAMN SPAM DENIAL SYSTEM OF FLI*KR.
That was not so easy for me to wait till I'll be able to sign-in!:(
